Hi, my name is Gabby, a South African living in Barcelona. Wine has always been a great love of mine and I’ve traveled the world to drink the best wine I could find, a little crazy but it’s true! I am also passionate about visiting as many wineries and vineyards as possible – a cellar view never gets old – and I’m the first to book a wine experience when visiting a new city.  

I’ve studied and lived in many countries around the world, and now call Barcelona my home. I have a deep fondness for Catalonia in general and the Penedès wine region in particular, which is rapidly becoming a really well-known winemaking region. Many younger producers are now making waves in this traditional industry, and it’s an exciting place to be.

Here at Wine Fantasy Barcelona we’re all about wine, and I can’t wait to share my love of wine with you. Join me for an exclusive tasting experience in one of Barcelona’s trendy wine stores, or take a vineyard tour with me. Our focus is the wine made right here in Catalonia, and I can’t wait to share a piece of the Penedès with you.
